On 05 May 2009, I went to karaoke with my friends from the dorm and nihongo class. This was my first karaoke in Japan this time, so I was very happy. It was really fun but a bit tiring also because we sang overnight from 23.00 to 05.00 in the morning. We actually got the same room as in the movie lost in translation, if you've seen that movie you might recognize it. In this picture from the right; Andy, me, Lina, Budiman, Hilda, Lya and Lindh.
That's so cool, i really love that movie. are you having an amazing time in Japan? i was thinking about travelling around in Japan, Thailand and China. I think getting the bigger picture is important and understanding about cultures other than your own. although no-one is the same, my family are part irish, english and a little sweedish too!
ReplyDeletehave you done much karaoke? do they have their own karaoke songs? or do they allow you to sing english ones?
Hi singtothe,
ReplyDeleteYeah..I had agreat time in Japan.
I think so too about what you said `getting the bigger picture is important and understanding about cultures other than your own. So you absolutely have to come to Japan, China and Thailand some day^^...
I think that is so cool too about your family. My family are Thai\Chinese...only two..hehe
Anyway..yes, I have done karaoke many times, it is really fun. And they have Japanese, CHinese, Korean and English songs too, so no worry, you probably could enjoy it very much too.
